Coach Soo has counseled many people on how to embrace life-long self-discovery, helping them to change from the ground up in non-conventional ways and to recreate themselves at varying junctures of their lives. His work has included advising young entrepreneurs in how to effectively start their ventures, counseling workers in making mid-career changes, and helping older businesspeople make the transition from long-time business careers into productive retirement. He has held management positions with established multinational corporations across various industries. He has resided in six countries, refining his perspectives of the world. Working for nearly two decades as the President for the Asia-Pacific Business Operations of an American multinational—a market leader—he has a proven track record of combining visionary strategic and tactical operational expertise in establishing comprehensive business infrastructure in a culturally and economically diverse region. During his tenure, he elevated both revenue and profitability to new heights, achieving a compound growth rate in excess of twice that of the industry-wide level. In 2012, Coach Soo established a business cultivator, to invest and nurture entrepreneurial start-ups in both Asia and Europe; additionally, he offers a business turnaround advisory. As an angel investor he evaluates, supports and mentors entrepreneurial ventures in Japan and overseas. He is also a frequent speaker/judge on entrepreneurship, adaptive business operation management, multinational strategy formulation and implementation at various universities and business cultivation organizations.
